Have bought above game for my daughter's birthday party and have bunch of 13 years olds coming. Have printed out game and read it over and over again and am concerned how whole thing will flow together. What if girls don't get into characters, can't converse and information is not swapped, will it all fall flat? Am I panicking unnecessarily? Hypnotism element particularly bothering me, can Les get people to do whatever (ie behave like a cat) and do I need to suggest this to person playing him. Hope you can put my mind at rest. Hi Julie,

In our experience, kids have a great time with this sort of thing. They often grasp the idea much quicker than adults - after all, playing 'let's pretend' isn't as alien to them.

If you're still worried, I suggest that you let your daughter have a look at one of our free extra characters (from another game). If she sounds enthusiastic after reading that, then you don't have anything to worry about.

(If you're throwing the party as a surprise for your daughter, then you might try showing the character to someone else instead.)

As for Les and the hypnotism, I suspect that whomever is playing Les will come up with all sorts of ideas without any help...

These days kids are more smart as compare to adults. They have much knowledge and curiosity to learn new things quickly. I think they will definitely enjoying this game. You can tell them the manual and rules of the game and after that you will see that your daughter and her friends will enjoy this game.
