A person 'in love' is supposed to act how? Do they automatically lose control of their actions? Do they automatically fail their goals? I am just a little confused on how to tell a character to act once they get it casted on them.

Hi Tai,

We've always let our players decide how to roleplay being 'in love', but if I was going to have to rule on it, I would say the following:

If a character is in love with another, then they should treat it as if they have an additional goal to help the characer they are in love with to succeed in their goals.

(And I'm sorry if that's a bit vague - I'm trying to avoid giving anything away!)

Being 'in love' certainly doesn't mean that they automatically lose control of their actions or that they fail their goals... although it may make some goals harder!

I hope that helps - tell us how it goes!

steve

following a question from the players involved I also ruled the following.
if a person 'in love' is asked items or information by her lover he/she could resist giving them away by not losing a paper/rock/scissors contest.
