As a first time host I am looking for ideas for finger foods/buffet items that would be served at a Chateu in the French Alps

Hi Joyce, We don't at the moment have any recommendations for finger food specifically, but here's a dinner menu that a host sent us last year, that they used for Snow Business:

Dinner Menu for Snow Business

Cheese Fondue Swiss, Emmenthaler, and Gruyere cheese melted in white wine, flavored with Kirsch http://www.about.ch/culture/food/index.html#CH_Fondue

Caesar Salad A true classic with Romaine Lettuce, croutons and parmesan cheese http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/caesar_salad

Baked French Onion Soup Topped with Gruyere Soup: [dead url, sorry]

Homemade Beef Stock:[dead url, sorry]

Pastetli Flaubert: Puff pastry shell filled with beef in a white wine mushroom sauce
Meat Pie Recipe: http://www.about.ch/culture/food/index.html#CH_Pastetli
Puff Pastry Recipes: http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/puff_pastry

Chocolate Coconut Crepes http://leitesculinaria.com/7506/recipes ... repes.html

Chocolate Fondue http://leitesculinaria.com/4430/recipes ... ondue.html

Can anyone else help out with more buffet-type food?
