Gather.town is a map-based virtual space where users can walk around a map and engage in video conversation based on their proximity to one another.
Although we’ve not tried it, it’s another option if you want to run a murder mystery game online.
Gather.town uses a map, and while several are provided none of them are ideally suited for our games.

Do something different this Halloween – throw a murder mystery party for your friends and family.
The Roswell Incident is set in Roswell, New Mexico, in July 1947—just days after something mysterious has crashed in the desert.
Characters in The Roswell Incident include local townspeople, military personnel from Roswell Army Air Field, scientists, reporters and FBI agents. Fortunately, 1940s costumes can be relatively easy to put together: a few well-chosen pieces can quickly suggest the period without requiring a completely authentic outfit.
